I did buy a gun though. Target shooting is fun. But, we need a hell of alot more gun control than there is now. If anything, my experience buying a gun made me more scared due to how easy it was.

There are good incentives for fuel subsidizes, but the goverment has failed at having stipulations to gonwith the subsidizes.

Personally, i think they should nationalize the fuel production industry. No one should get rich from a natural resource, especially one that is destorying the planet. Even more so since they have known about it for 70+ years and have been trying to cover it up.

Yep, it just was better regulated in the recent past. It wasnt always much better, the great depression era was arguably worse. It only took 20 years and a world war to pull us out.

My cat of 14 years had to be put down, my parents gifted my sister nearly a half million dollars with the reasoning that she needs it more (with the " dont worry, we will even it out later"), my wifes mom semi disowned her ( not sure exactly what this situation is) and wifes dad is playing favorites with step kids.

You get almost the whole worlds information for free in video form. You can be entertained or use it as a teaching tool. It is the best place at this point for product demos and reviews. It is a crazy wealth of information and infrastructure that everyone takes advantage of and somehow just expect to be free. If Google cancells it because it is not profitable, i would bet the efficiency of the entire human race takes a significant nose dive. It also probably runs one of the highest sets of data storage and encoding on the planet.

TLDR or TLDW: the government did it by making incentives for suvs and trucks. Cars are regulated harsh for efficiency while suvs and trucks are exempt.

This made profit margins for suvs and trucks large, and smaller cars are almost non-existent.

I worked for a company that designed home security devices for a few years.. Pretty much everyone i talked to agreed there is only 1 actually good security device that is an effective deterrent. Its called "Large Scary Dog". Every other device is there just to notify you that all your shit is soon to be or already gone.

On the other hand, these digital locks, while not any safer, are much more convenient. I am all in on not having to carry keys and instead have a code to enter or some other easy access.

My biggest thing is that they make people pay more attention. I dont think better drivers drive stick, i think the stick makes YOU a better driver.

Less eating, drinking, phone holding, texting etc. You have to know speeds and rpms for which gears. It keeps me from speeding knowing this street is a 4th gear street. When i end up driving a auto car, i will often loook down and wonder how i got to the speed i am at, though that may also be due to the fact its not my car and im just not used to the sensation of speed.

On another note, i think on average manual trans are less prone to failure. I know alot of cars that have essentially been junked due to an auto trans problem, but a manual just needs a new clutch every one and a while. Though this might be less common on newer cars compared to 90's and early 2000's cars.
