Washik, 58, told The Canadian Press earlier this month that she was having a playful water gun fight with a child during a neighbourhood gathering when she accidentally sprayed Rochester in the chest.

Washik said that, despite her apologies, he called police. After Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrived, Washik said the officers didn't ask her "a single question" and charged her with assault with a weapon. But Rochester's security footage appears to show a different version of events.

Around 6 p.m. ET, Rochester is setting up his lawnmower on his front lawn when Washik walks over, the footage appears to show. No other people can be seen.

She stands at the end of his lawn and is heard saying, "Hey, how's it going?"

Rochester doesn't appear to respond and begins mowing his lawn while Washik watches him for several minutes, occasionally waving.

"It was very strange and creepy," he told CBC.

Then, a boy crosses from the other side of the street and Washik appears to ask him for a water gun, making a flicking motion with her hands in the direction of Rochester.

The footage doesn't capture the side of the house, where Rochester alleges he was intentionally sprayed.

Whoever decided to try to tie this situation to the Nygard trial needs to seriously rethink their life choices.

"We believe serving in caucus while actively practicing as a criminal defense attorney is a conflict of interest" is far more defensible than "this guy works with someone who defended a reprehensible criminal."

Yeah, probably - it's funnier to give an elaborate rationale for guessing the wrong answer, and Ben's enough of a foodie that I'd expect him to do a little better with "pollo" than he has.

That said, the polos are both obscure enough sports that I'm never confident with my own guesses...

Manitoba's NDP government has removed MLA Mark Wasyliw from its caucus after the party learned one of his business partners is the acting criminal defence lawyer for convicted sexual predator Peter Nygard.

Okay...it sounds like they were just looking for an excuse, no matter how flimsy.

I don't even know why I checked the website, I usually don't bother on weekends.

I think the ship is a standard reclaimable, account-wide unlock.

I think it's possible to get a little salty about the state of things without turning the community (such as it is) into a wretched hive of scum and villainy - I think you're in the clear.

It's funny, I don't think the current storyline has been bad, necessarily - just uninteresting. Maybe they were a year or two too late to hop on the multiversal bandwagon, even though it makes perfect sense in a Trek context.

Important note about one of the prizes:

Pulse Phaser Weapon Pack

This pack is account bound, and not reclaimable. It will be granted to the character who claims the Grand Prize.

This is probably well beyond the scope of what these nights are about, but I do wonder what they did with the "Picard" season three bridge set.

I actually don't have a satisfactory answer to my own question.

Star Trek was a prominent part of the popular culture when I was a kid, so it was easy to have a basic knowledge of TOS without actually seeing it.

I think I probably saw Star Trek IV first, and the first episode I can clearly remember watching is "Unification II", though I'm pretty certain I saw something before then.

I was mostly concerned about the docking pylons being too realistic, but I can't guarantee that wouldn't happen, either.

It looks cool, but potentially dangerous?

I think those have all been added, IIRC.

Not sure about the Enterprise-G.
