What predator does he need to scare off?
Mrs. True. It's why she so often wallops him in his nightgown, without his eyespots.

I really love the current gen controllers. I was using a Series X controller, which has a fantastic weight and feel, but I started experiencing drift. I decided to get a PS5 controller after that, and it's even better! I use it with my PC, and the touchpad works as a mousepad, which has allowed me to play a LOT of games comfortably on the couch, when I'd normally have to fumble with my mouse and keyboard.
So Streets of Rage 2 with some River City Ransom mechanics? Count me in! It won't increase the replayability for me though, I could already play SoR2 over and over, it's immaculate.
But, they are Ubisoft. As is the theme with this new Star Wars game. I'm almost wary to wish for a sequel to Rayman Legends, feels like the monkey's paw with AAA (sorry, AAAA) studios now.
Far Cry 2 also had the buddies system, which I have missed greatly in every entry since. Far Cry 3 was an awesome game but I do wish the series after had taken more inspiration from 2 and less from 3. Subverting missions and then losing your favorite buddy in a firefight is an experience unlike anything in the rest of the series.
For real. I played through Far Cry 5 recently, and as much as I enjoyed it it still felt like some exec saw Far Cry 3 and said "make this appeal broader and sell more."
Well now I'm embarrassed I didn't catch the Sunny reference! Oh no, time for a rewatch....
New Girl S2E6. I wanted so badly to include a photo but couldn't find one.
Schmidt proven right
These guys have it made if you ask me. They sold development for Risk of Rain 2 to Gearbox (which, turned out not so great for Risk of Rain 2, but they were done developing it themselves anyway) and probably got a decent bit of money out of that, then they partnered with Gearbox to crank out a beautiful remaster of Risk of Rain. Now they have jobs at a company that paid out about $450 million to its 336 employees in 2021. I've been following these guys since DEADBOLT, and it's nice to see them set up with cush jobs. No doubt they have leftover money from Gearbox; I'm sure these guys will set off on their own to make a passion project when the time comes.
Oh okay! I missed out on Advanced Warfare's online, going straight from Black Ops II to Black Ops III. I remembered people not liking the boost jumping in Advanced Warfare, but I didn't realize that's where all the loot box stuff started. To its credit, I remember playing some splitscreen AW with my brothers, and I believe it had all weapons unlocked offline at least. BO3 didn't have that, which was a disappointment for me in a rural area without internet capable of online MP.
I agree completely. Alice in Chains is my favorite band, but I really don't think seeing them live would be worth it because they'd be doing all of Layne's songs without him. I know that in that case, Jerry also contributed a great deal to the lyrics and sound, but without Layne something feels missing...
