Kamala.

Only because if Trump represents the culmination of problems we have to deal with under capitalism; Kamala represents putting those problems off and not dealing with them as long as possible.

Nailed the logo for both parties anyways

Its sad that honestly I dont think its out of your average cops wheelhouse to gun down a 65 year old lib wearing a pussy hat for no reason.

What if Trump wins and libs start doing that? Like Indivisble with guns.

Why do people act like Trump is gonna ban porn, shut the border, and shove trans children in concentration camps?

Dudes gonna govern like 3 millimeters to the right of Bill Clinton and do the usual Trump stuff of making a show of it all.

Its not Rogan alone.

Its a clear cut general election strategy all around to target a certain type of younger (usually also white) center right independents. The guy who smokes weed, watches MMA, still listens to Eminem, maybe voted for Gary Johnson in 2016 if at all, Says hes socially liberal and fiscally conservative but also hates trans people.

This is a weird non voter demographic that presidential candidates usually dont touch with a ten foot pole. This definitely favors Trump in an extremely close race where any little bit could make the difference. Especially when Kamala is going after a group of voters that are already safe dems

Abortion is such a slam fucking dunk issue too. Why the fuck is she not screaming about this from the rooftops? Is there a weak point on this issue that we dont know that could be a scandal in bringing up abortion?

Tbh ive spent a lot of time in more nonpolitical spaces online. The energy to engage in politics in any online place is just more than its worth outside of leftwing spaces.

Like tbh this is the first time in my life where Id say public discourse in gaming and sports is far more productive, positive and less personal than politics. We know where everyone stands at this point and if you still support genocide then thays a scar on your soul that you'll have to reckon with.

While I've honestly been trying to tune out the election shit, I was streaming the world series feed (through completely legal means I can assure you) from a Fox station in Florida. Much to my dismay, I was completely bombarded by these ads saying Trump supports amendement 3 which would legalize weed in the state. I scroll on social media for like 5 mins later on and I see this fucker on Joe Rogan.

Its a pretty clear attempt at targeting independent socially moderate/liberalish fiscally conservative independent bros that, honestly exist and could decide the election if its close. All while Kamala is really leaning into winning over "dick cheney democrats" that dont exist outside of focus groups in the beltway.

Im calling it now. Trumps winning again.

The secret is that liberals love to talk about him more than anyone else. And the more you tell these kinds of people "not to do something " the more theyll want to do it. So when liberals talk about how "dangerous" or whatever he is, theres about half the country who thinks its cool or edgy and votes for him out of spite.

If supposed Trump haters stopped talking about him for a solid 6 months after 2020, then its likely he wouldnt have made it past the primary.

If I were a billionaire, (and for the sake of fantasy, ignoring the moral repercussions of such) Id buy out every super bowl ad slot and fill it with Youtube poops from 2008

Mathnet, the educational parody, is an unironically better show and I'm willing to die on that hill

A lot of boomer behavior and beliefs make sense when you realize this. A lot of them were raised by whatever garbage was on TV due to neglectful parents.

Do yourself a favor and watch an episode of one of these shows some time. MASH, Gilligans Island, the Andy Griffith Show, etc. Pure escapism. Simple black and white moralistic protestsnt values.

Now realize that when boomers reminisce about a time when "townspeople knew the local cop" that this never existed. They are literally just going off what they seen on the andy griffith show as a kid during their formative years.

While I've certainly seen a lot of posts and cases about the other side of the coin. And not to dismiss this. I've seen plenty of stories and accounts of people who have lost family members to the cult of the "cheeto man" himself.

But my mom has gone complete bonkers since 2016 for an entirely different reason. Shes obsessed with hating Trump. From 2016-2021 it was like 99% of what she would talk about. Hell, its gotten a tiny bit better but its still like 50% on a good day of what she talks about at any given time still. During the Mueller era, she had CNN practically 24/7. So much so that one of the headlines literally burned into her TV. She would post and show anyone she talked to anti Trump memes, songs, etc. People started disconnecting from her and she just had this "Well I guess they dont like what I havr to say! They're Trumpers anyways." Pretty much lacking any self awareness into how unhinged the election made her and fully leaning into it.

This is a woman who went from not voting and not really caring for either side of the political aisle to running for and becoming a school board member. She was so insufferable in this position that she took a 4 year break because no one liked her, ran again, and resigned because no one on the board or at the school likes her.

Fortunately, I havent lived with her for the most part since COVID, aside from like 3 months when I was in between apartments due to a breakup at the time. But I do still love her and miss the old her from before Trump became president so I keep in semi touch with her.

But I had a conversation with her recently about this election that makes me question the sanity of most of these boomer libs. Despite knowing Im not voting for kamala or Trump, she keeps pushing me. Texting "your vote counts. Theres only 2 candidates" over and over. Even though I literally live halfway across the country from her in California. Shes running short of harassing me to vote for Kamala. And then out of the blue she calls me literally just to talk about this. Spews the same old zionist bullshit that "we should fund Israel, its just Bibi whos bad!" And that "Israel-Palestine is just ONE issue anyways". And so on the usual crap about J6 and shit.

I said something like "kamala and trump are both evil, Trump is just honest about it".

And she literally goes off "YOU THINK TRUMP IS HONEST! YOU MUST BE DRINKING THE KOOL AID SON! DONALD TRUMP IS ANYTHING BUT HONEST."

Basically calling me a Trumper for the mere suggestion of Trump being honest about something. Much less, honest about him being evil. Before hanging up and saying I have nothing better to do. Despite her bothering me about the subject, her calling me to argue, and her lack of being able to talk about much of anything else.

Does anyone else have any stories of crazy lib relatives post 2016? I feel like I cant be the only one.

You know they cant resist

Taken by me. Truly feels like a different world...

Lib family member took this photo while they were campaigning for Kammy in Michigan. The rest of the office was covered in "_____ for Kamala/Walz" posters.

This is all they have left. Shallow attempts at identity politics and blue maga cult like idolization of normie centrist libs.

Gavin Newsom fully admits here that he cares more about the race to be the American Empire's next cheerleader than a vote for a proposition that actually fucking matters.

These local referendums in CA for propositions are one of the few elections that actually matter. Proposition 36 would essentially criminalize homelessness and poverty, increase prison time for nonviolent offenders and potentially even hold drug dealers liable for murder for people overdosing.

Its absolutely horrendous, is polling with overwhelming support and Gavin Newsom is too busy campaigning to be Kamalas next HUD secretary or whatever.

What are some other activation words/phrases for these people? Lmao
