Yeah many years ago a co-workers wife went to pick up a “dud” firework and something similar happened to her infront of him and his two kids. None of them were ok after that.

Most finance jobs run credit reports. People with bad credit are perceived as more likely to steal, which is bullshit in my opinion.

I run background checks for employment regularly and have used multiple different providers. Never seen data broker information. Largely the providers I’ve used have in advanced let me know which county courthouses they would collect information from.

If a nurse causes a malpractice that is on their license for years and other states detect it. Cops nothing. We should have their full history accessible to the public.

Pretty much the correct HR response. But I also wouldn’t call HR “rank and file” that’s an admin staff no different than a manager or an accountant and one who has a cursory knowledge of law(eg can’t record in Ohio).

On one hand I agree with you on the other I think it’s fine to review the product from the shelf when it launched with over 40 dollars of dlc.
