I personally would NOT fire smokeless in that gun. Sure, some guys proved THEIR barrels didn't explode, but not all laminated steel or damascus barrels are all the same. On top of that, age is a factor on older guns too. Is the barrel pitted or cracked? These barrels are not proofed at all for smokeless.

Honestly, just buy 12GA ammo off the shelf, the cheapest you can find. Cut the top off, dump the wad, shot, powder out. Then put black powder (777 or whatever substitute you want to use), wad, shot, wad, and then use tallow or bees wax and pour it over the top, not letting it drop off the sides.

Sorry you feel that way. I'm not going to try to convince you otherwise, but we can say the exact same thing for a lot of hobbies (golf, soccer/football, other environmental damaging hobbies).

Not sure who downvoted you, but I know several dems and left wingers who also enjoy firearms. I can also point to reps and right wingers who have banned firearms that they claim they "support".

Sorry to hear that. My state Ohio, treats them as firearms regarding posession and transporting. I do enjoy the priviledge of shipped to my house. (Shame on Cabelas for restricting shipping here because of a shooting)

Safes only keep snatch and grab guys honest. Unless you drop 10's of thousands, with reenforced walls from steel that it's mounted to, criminals can still break in with enough time.

What exactly are you wanting and what "location" are we working with (basement, apartment, 2nd floor, walled, ext)?
