So? Let it be.

They definitely don't need a revolution. Politically this is the most stable and prosperous China (PRC) has ever been.

This is exactly how I use it. It seems that some people can't figure this out by themselves.

Yeah when I read the question, "construction" is definitely not one of the things that came to my mind. The work is simply too demanding, so many people involved, deadlines, work under the sun, in general I think building is hard work. I can see a structural engineer or consultant having a nice life-balance tho.

I think he means he shouldn't have mentioned the US cause it's one of the countries with the worst reputation regarding human rights.

Comparing China to Russia is laughable.

One has a competent government the other doesn't.

There's plenty of info of African leaders thanking China approach in Africa. African leaders are not dumb , if China offers a better credit card and infrastructure plans than some western countries they will choose that. Yes, it's that simple.

I hope we do. And if we don't, I hope other instances block us.

After saying goodbye to RIF and reddit, it's time for me to move on. So far I've used 4 apps for Lemmy and this is my personal ranking:

  1. wefwef.app. Very clean design, works well and smooth experience. Overall the best implementation so far.

  2. Connect/Liftoff (tied). Both are solid, I prefer Connect's sidebar and options but I prefer the design of the posts and comments on Liftoff. When the comments stack in Connect it looks awful IMO.

  3. Jerboa. As a first option it was good but after so many timeouts, other design issues and multiple errors I kinda gave up on the app. After its polished I'll give it another try.

My only problem is that we are in 2023 and we still need to read a bunch of text. Why can't we have holograms and a sexy AI whispering us the comments?
