cw: transphobia/homophobia, unhinged parents, ventListening to my mom go on and on about how queer and trans folk need to be thrown into mental institutions because "they want to get extra privileges that 'normal' people don't even have to accommodate their disgusting lifestyles" and other things like "they're trying to rewrite our language by saying we're not allowed to say things like queer or [insert slur], like they're just words grow up!". Like please hasan-stfu, I am begging you for the sake of my mental health

Yea, as cool as this would be I have some serious doubts about this, especially since they said they want to put passengers on this thing? The SR-71 reached a max speed of mach 3.4, but it was flying at extremely high altitudes where the air is very thin and the pilot had to wear what's essentially a space suit. Not to mention the plane being made entirely of titanium because during flight the surface temperature of the plane's body was so hot, that any other metal would start to lose it's structural soundness. I have no doubts that technology has massively improved since the 60s, but I don't think it's improved to the point to where we're going to be flying at mach 4 from Beijing to New York like they say. If they end up showing it off later down the line and it can actually do that, well holy shit.

cw: vent about lifeIt really sucks being poor and not being able to get a job. I have no money to go and do things, I don't have a car or any way to get around so even if I had money to do things I still wouldn't be able to, I am stuck in a meh housing arrangement, and I'm lonely as ever because social anxiety is strong and I shut down in even the smallest social interactions. I'm a mess.

I only really restart if there's a kernel update because I'm too lazy to do all the setup for live patching. If there's an update for something like Nginx, I restart the service after updating it. I try to stay on top of updates, especially security ones for obvious reasons.

server: nginx/1.22.1

I also personally disable this, it's not really too important, but it's a little security by obscurity thing. Makes people scanning the internet for a specific (possibly vulnerable) version of Nginx a little bit harder.

I disagreed with some of their messaging, but Victory or Death was great. Stopped listening to them after I heard about the whole SA stuff as well.

Probably not, but they do have a joint defense treaty with the DPRK and it serves as a good opportunity for them to test their troops in real world scenarios and to learn things that they may need to know in case of a future conflict.
