I do occasionally use the TrackPoint, and agree that generally it's less precise than a trackpad or mouse. But one critical advantage that I get from it is the fact that I can use a TrackPoint with gloves on, which is great when you're outdoors in the winter or working with heavy equipment. It's also a redundancy for if your trackpad stops working (which has also happened to me). So I value it for those reasons and don't like the fact that it's being phased out, but otherwise do prefer to use the trackpad.

I've used LineageOS on several phones and /e/os on a OnePlus 5. I'm not a huge fan of the iOS style skin on /e/os, but you can always change launchers as you see fit. Otherwise I've had great experiences with both. Just stick with official builds and pretty much everything will work upon flashing.

Likely not open source, but piokok.com is another good front end

This is interesting, it looks like a remake of Alto's Adventure. The control sensitivity takes a moment to get used to, but the background is just as nice as the original, and the music is indeed relaxing

Woah, nice username. Love how you were able to get it italicized like that

The Samsung Galaxy S5 was a good example of this. The back panel and battery was removable, and the charging port had an extra plastic cover that went on top to protect against water ingress
