Well, they ARE dinosaurs.

The flower would go first.

Eating plants is better for plants than eating animals that eat plants.

Also, sympathy with animals is only one possible reason to be a vegan. Some people are motivated differently (environment protection).

If you need to fart very often, you may need to change your diet. Look up food that causes gas and try to watch your body after you eat it to find out what makes you fart and what's ok.

There are countries where all dogs have owners (mostly on the other side of the leach) and you are always supposed to ask the owners before you pet them.

And then there are countries blessed with really cute street dogs that tend to turn tummy up when you're passing them. You're supposed to pet those randomly.

I hate this kind of titles that try hard to make science sound esoteric. Science is exciting enough by itself!

It is white when seen from space. Here on Earth, the atmosphere disperses the blue part of the spectrum so that the blue sunlight comes to our eyes from all directions, making the sky blue. Without the blue light, the sun appears more yellow. So the color depends on your point of view :)

Well, the second place is more crafty, but where's the fun in that? There would be huge amounts of similar nice pictures in the competition. The first place makes me laugh and uses a way to look at the dog shape that I haven't seen before. I prefer this added value to perfect technique.

So if I understand correctly, the study suggests the driving factor might well be longing for social dominance and sociopathic traits and not necessarily sexual frustration.

I see two rather young looking faces framed by grey or white hair (I'm a big fan of natural greying) and with terrible outfits that make them look much older. So to me it seems that finally we have a better fashion.

Mitochondria (the famous powerhouse of the cell) is a symbiotic bacteria that became so entangled with our cell that neither can now live without the other. Sorry to everyone who knows, in some regions this is not common knowledge. Knowing this makes your life immensely better because it's such a cool fact.

So both the engineers and everyone in the comments is just saying they hate/like the look of it? That's the last important part. As I understand it, the Cybertruck is never going to be allowed to the roads in Europe because of how unsafe it is. That's what people should be interested in. Looks can be pleasing to some and ugly to others and that's ok.

I'm using Firefox on an Android phone to view Lemmy. When I click a post at the second page of posts and go back after reading, it takes me to the first page of posts. Am I doing something wrong?

Why YSK: I use the web version of Lemmy both on desktop and mobile. By going directly to the 2nd page of posts, I get rid of both the neverending stream of new posts and of the same old posts that keep sticking to the 1st page. It works for all the filters: active, hot... No need to scroll down, just change the number in the end of the URL from 1 to 2 and save it to favourites or whatever.
