Personally I think Zelda is better off being live action than the kind of style Illumination/DreamWorks is known for.
Other than the Toon Link games the series has always had a more anatomical art style that is rarely seen in Western animated film.

The problem is that it's supposed to be a sequel to the Tim Burton movies and it just doesn't work on that front.
