Are people really mad about nudity, or are they just mad that it's not all het nudity?

Edit: ok so after some research, looks like full nudity is an optional setting, and all body models (male or female) can have dicks or vulvas. Which makes me think there's an anti trans component to complaints as well.

Ugh misery porn tourism

People here have given you good pasta sauce recipes here, let me recommend ramen. I've found it at dollar stores and most grocery stores, it's shelf stable, and pretty versatile. Can add egg and/or almost any frozen produce you can find.

I'm watching this thread with great interest ๐Ÿ‘€

For the US, maybe Dolly Parton?

Instances can defederate whenever they want, but skimming the sidebar and announcements, it's weirder to me that lemmy.world is still federated with lemmygrad, which seems to be very similar to hexbear.

Anyone have any insight into the difference between lemmygrad and hexbear?

I don't think it needs to be overcome, just applied differently. A more global "us" vs problems like global warming or poverty would be fantastic.

It's also a self preservation instinct - sometimes there's just too much going on and you gotta narrow your focus to the people around you.

Pretty normal to reevaluate things from time to time. I went on a cleaning binge recently and let go of a lot of hobby stuff that I wasn't using any more. It's created more space for the hobbies i currently enjoy, and it's so much easier to keep my place organized and clean.

At the same time, there were things i don't use but kept anyways, either because there are good memories associated or i really want to pick up the hobby again in the future.

I have a feeling that once they start getting into how exactly to implement ActivityPub, they're going to run into the existing issues, decide it's not worth the effort, and just quietly not do it.

Yeah the policy OP described just creates a culture where people lie about why they need time off ๐Ÿ˜†

It's not school - if someone agrees to cover the shift, just let em

It's never worked for me no matter what I try. Lemmy seems to be built only to follow communities, not users. ๐Ÿฅฒ
