Thanks, I'd never really considered the impacts climate change would have on oxygen. I looked into this a bit and it seems to also be the case that rising ocean temperatures also reduce the capacity of the water to hold dissolved oxygen, which causes a nasty feedback loop.

So while there's not an immediate risk of atmospheric oxygen concentration dropping by any significant amount, there is a real concern of oxygen concentrations in the oceans dropping pretty drastically. This then accelerates climate change even further and could have longer term effects on atmospheric levels as well.

Sure but anthropogenic climate change is an issue of greenhouse gas accumulation rather than a lack of oxygen, no? Rather than there being too many people literally just using too much oxygen.

Are we concerned about the amount of oxygen available now?

Yep, I was thinking "there's no way Disney will let them get away with this" before I remembered Disney was involved with making Doctor Who now. Guess it's not unprecedented though, Marvel's Helicarrier always reminded me of UNITs Valiant (though I'm sure the Helicarrier probably predates it in the comics).

I also found it immensely funny that the Toymaker had nothing interesting to say about 13's companions and had to skip past them.

A fun episode for sure, with a lot of turns I wasn't expecting. Acting as always was top notch, from the Doctors and also NPH as the Toymaker. The episode does feel rushed though. There weren't many moments to breathe and take in what was happening before being whisked off to the next plot point. All coming to a head when we have this never before seen mythic bi-generation, but we have to whizz past everyone's reactions so we have time to play catch and wrap the episode up within the time limit. I don't want to come off as overly negative because there was a lot to like here and I did enjoy it, but it really could have done with being a two-parter.

For $35 it'd honestly be less insulting if they didn't fine him at all.

Assuming that the education could be free, why wouldn't you expect people to train as surgeons?
