That is not a plane if you look close. That is thieving. The board layout had no copper there, but this can make the plating process more difficult to get consistent across the board. Usually this is added by the fab house to help them manufacture the board.

It doesn’t usually work that well in practice. I have been running an M1 MBA for the last couple years (asahi Arch and now Asahi Fedora spin). More complex pieces of software typically have build system and dependencies that are not compatible or just make hunting everything down a hassle.
That said there is a ton of software that is available for arm64 on Linux so it’s really not that bad of an experience. And there are usually alternatives available for software that cannot be found.
You can get panel mount resistors. They are usually rated at way higher wattage though.
I would probably just heat shrink the resistor. Your harness should be reasonably secure anyway.
I would question why you need a 2.2ohm 1/2w resistor in a harness in the first place though.
I would say “energy harvesting” is when the receiver and transmitter are not designed to be used together and they are not physically close together. Otherwise your electric toothbrush and Qi charger might count.
VSCode is open (MIT) but it is packaged by MS to include some tracking/telemetry and they are distributed under a non-free license.
You can use VSCodium for a telemetry free and MIT licensed binary or you are free to build the source where the default config is no telemetry and MIT license.
Exactly what I did. I went for the 1tb though. The storage prices for the deck are pretty outrageous and upgrading is pretty easy. So a 64gb deck + 1tb card comes out to be about the same as a 256gb deck.
I watched the some of the analysis and Max completely dropped the brake. I think McLaren is correct in arguing Max intentionally carried too much speed so he could get the apex first, but did not have a chance to make the corner. So in my opinion Lando should not have picked up a penalty for that.
However, he should have picked up a penalty for his turn 1 move…
