Honestly I struggle to play for an hour most days I play before I'm totally mentally exhausted. Part of that is learning a new character I'm sure but overall it's been less time then I'd spend on other games.

Aki's a ton of fun! A ton more depth in her combo routing than is typical in this game because of the poison mechanics so I'm basically never doing optimal combos still. Only last night I sat down and practiced her optimal meterless stun combo and then kinda fucked it up the one opportunity I got to use it.

Part 1 of the street fighter grind is over, my awful Aki has reached diamond! Next stop masters, then actually learning how to play the game and getting demolished at my local.

It's not native yet, they've said they want to get the game into a good state and work on optimizations before getting a native Linux version running. That said it runs very well on proton.

My boss is also my project manager, most of what she does is function as a sort of go between for us (the people on the ground actually providing the service) and the customer. That involves sitting in meetings with the customer higher ups to keep them in the loop on how things are going, bringing any issues that are preventing us from getting something done to them to make a decision on, figuring out the logistics of how something is going to get done, things like that.

Basically she deals with the people bullshit so all I have to do is go out and fix the problems.

Sakura is a matter of when not if, and iirc Makoto topped the most wanted character poll they did a while back so your odds of getting both eventually are pretty good!

Forgot how fun street fighter is, been having a blast the last week shaking the rust off and picking up a new character. Only problem is I placed really low rank and now that I've put things together I have a lot of games to win before I'm playing people that know what they're doing and it can get kinda mind numbing just blowing up the same thing again and again.

Gonna stick it out tho, can't let my buddy stay higher rank than me. 💪

Both my current and previous psych wanted to check heart rate and blood pressure every time I saw them (every 1 or 2 months) so yearly seems really infrequent to me. Maybe it's an Adderall vs Vyvanse thing?

I'd say cutting out the caffeine is a good start, can also try altering diet and adding some exercise to your routine to help as well, which is generally helpful for ADHDers anyway with mitigating some symptoms. Good luck!
