Yeah, this IPO will probably go just fine and a bunch of wankers will make a bunch of money. That's what it's all about, after all.

I suspect they're looking into ways to keep their staff loyal, they'll be considering things like controlling the supply of an addictive drug, implanting behaviour modification chips in their brains, explosive collars, holding their kids hostage. Shit like that. Because why else would anyone be loyal to these vermin?

The word 'sinister' derives from 'the left side', which shows we've been aware of the strong links between left-handedness and the unholy prince of falsehood for some time. Have fun in hell, abomination!

As a British person who spent several years living and working in EU countries before brexit and is now unable to - I don't think I'll ever stop being furious at the ignorant bigoted fucks who voted away the wonderful freedom of movement we shared with our neighbours. Useless slack-jawed gibbering wankers.

I am guessing he had good publicists, probably decided he could do the job better and got rid of them just before the pedo thing.

I am still furious about Brexit on a personal level. Freedom of movement was amazing. It meant that I could just decide to go live and work in an EU country whenever I wanted. I had previously used this to spend a couple of years in Spain and maybe a year in France. I'd been planning a move to Portugal when Brexit took this away from me. All those opportunities gone because of dumb fuckers who didn't even realise we had them. Ignorant bigoted wankers. Goes without saying I voted remain. I'd be delighted to rejoin, and if it means we adopt the euro that's fine with me. It won't happen for at least a decade though, and at my age that'll be too late for me.

Oh, that's okay then!

And in quality. Seems like a lot of food items are using cheaper ingredients.

So completely overlooking the overlying political situation and just thinking about this incident - it's fuckin horrible.

I've been at a whole lot of techno parties back in the day and just imagining these events triggers a real wince in my soul. Remember being off your head at a really good party with your mates and your partner and then imagine this shit happening. I mean, a fuckin rave is pretty much the opposite of a military target.

I'm thinking there's a lot of criticisms to make on both sides of this conflict and a lot of comments here are focusing on that and overlooking the fucking horror of this incident right here.

I don't really think it's bizarre. Sex crimes and consensual sex are two very different things. The issue here is that some people seem to be facing consequences that last a lifetime for 'crimes' that seem pretty insignificant. But if someone raped another person you'd expect them to face consequences even if they are underage when committing the offence.

I did. Said I'd be leaving when they did the API thing and stuck with it. Missed reddit for a week and then moved on. Sync for Lemmy is fine. Lemmy is quieter but there's also less bullshit.

Anyone got any idea why they are doing this? Seems a bit extreme.
