You need to also allow mmg.whatsapp.net and some CDN domains to allow download image and files.

I mainly use Droid-ify. It is my favorite one. And I also use Aurora when I need an app from the play store.

You can identify specific scripts with the logger and from the same window you create a dynamic rule

You can also use the logger to identify specific elements and then create a rule to block them.
