It's closer to a job offer. Resigning would be a personal rather than an official act.

The bill lists specific actions that fall under the proposed definition: abuse against children that includes animal torture, bestiality or cannibalism, or forcing a child to ingest urine or feces, enter a coffin or grave containing a corpse, or take drugs as part of the ritual.

Wouldn't this include celebrating communion?

This is hardly the time to be conjugating temporal verbs in the past-impossible-never tense!

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas., laughed at the suggestion, writing on social media Tuesday “why not $500 per hour?”

Assuming he actually worked 40 hours per week, 50 weeks per year, Senator Cruz's pay rate, as set by federal law, amounts to around $87 per hour. We know that he doesn't actually do that much work, so it's actually going to be much higher.

You know how I describe the economic and social classes in this country? The upper class keeps all of the money, pays none of the taxes. The middle class pays all of the taxes, does all of the work. The poor are there just to scare the shit out of the middle class... keep on showing up at those jobs.

Griffin then faulted Democrats for turning his bill into a “circus,” saying he supports exceptions for the life of the mother but was never afforded a chance to amend the legislation to reflect that.

Either you oppose the provisions you wrote into your own bill, or your don't. Can't have it both ways, Grif.

Both parties are equally susceptible to hoaxes.

Don't confuse fallibility with gullibility.

Yeah, OP's post history is pretty monotonously anti-Biden.

McConnell is worried about his legacy, and he's right to be concerned. Because not even his supporters and allies are going to remember him as anything but Trump's penis butler. Nothing he has accomplished or will accomplish matters.

His name, if it's remembered at all, will be spoken in the same breath as Joe McCarthy and Benedict Arnold: villains for future school children to revile.
