Fun fact: The Park operators get so few visitors who actually pay to see it that they genuinely get excited when someone does pay for the tour. The park is in the middle of a barren desert.

Let's not forget that it was President Eisenhower, a Republican, who directed a Republican House and Senate to pass Dr. Salk's Polio Vaccine into immediate use in 1955.

You'd think these anti-vax nutjobs would let that one side on that fact alone. People are stupid to even consider letting that crap come back and potentially paralyze children.

This is just another form of delay tactics by the defense, nothing more.

The longer they drag out jury selection, the longer the trial runs, which gives them more time for everything from prepping the defense to giving the ranting monkey more time for his campaign.

In my 20 years of working in the office and an additional 4 working 100% WFH, I'll throw my worthless internet opinion out there as to why: It comes down to the culture of the company.

Some companies see a real benefit from water tank conversations, face-to-face meetings, and the ability for managers to ask someone in person on a moment's notice to do things. There is also a lack of trust in the employees being able to perform correctly without physical oversight in many companies. Granted and aside from the trust issue, there is some truth to that, but can in fact be realigned with the exact same benefit by retooling communications. It's up to each company however to formulate the best course of action to remedy that and many sadly fail, resulting in RTO mandates.

“Tens of thousands of Chinese soldiers are already in Canada and probably Mexico waiting for orders to invade,” she wrote on January 8, 2021.

As married-in Mexican, I'm pretty sure that Chinese soldiers wouldn't last a week in Mexico without getting rolled by the cartels, then dumped in a ditch or chased home lol.

It's not consistently true, Leghorns have yellow colored ears and lay white eggs, but yes, MOST eggs can be differentiated by their "lobes".

Moms of Liberty: Reading "Rainbow", omg we HAVE to ban that from schools as it has a gay agenda!

Qwack jobs like those need to read the Constitution more instead of reinterpreting their Bible to fit their own agenda.

Shout out to LeVar, a true National Treasure.

As a California native who has commuted 2hrs a day to work for decades, but got to live in the UK for a year: I was way more productive when I commuted by light rail/subway.

Instead of looking out for aholes looking to break check, cut you off, deny you changing lanes; I was able to respond to emails, make some calls and even have a descent breakfast off the morning truck while sitting in a wifi available seat traveling into London from Gatwick each day. Way less stressful overall.
