Are you sure about ICAO? Feels more like an IATA kind of thing to me …?

I used to have my shopping list on my phone. Replaced that by a whiteboard on the fridge, which is much less cumbersome to use (seriously, typing on a phone nowadays is almost worse than back in the T9 days). Before I go shopping, I just snap a picture with my phone.
I can see how that might be a deal breaker for some applications. Good to know that there are alternatives around!

They may need some getting used to if you come from adobe, but they are all very capable.
Chinese home cooking is great for this. One of my favourites:
- Cook some sort of long noodles. You can go fancy with this, but spaghetti are fine.
- for each person, put a bit of soy sauce at the bottom of something like a large cereal bowl, add warm-ish noodles.
- put a little pile of thinly sliced scallion greens and chili flakes on top.
- heat some vegetable oil to almost smoking and carefully pour it over — just enough to fry the chili and greens, and lightly coat the noodles.
Quick and simple, super tasty (and even vegan friendly if that matters to you).
Meh, math and statistics are (ab)used pretty much anywhere in science. Carpenters and blacksmiths both use hammers, but so do roofers and geologists.
