I'm a senior software engineer. SQL was the first language I stopped writing myself. I audit it, but I don't write it anymore. It is strange being where I'm at, having had to learn it all manually first. The folks coming up behind me won't know enough to even do that auditing themselves.

Actually I think folks with ASPD are the worst, trash that should be discarded from society. /s

I think you're confusing folks who have pedophilia with folks who act on it.

It's not racial, more of a cultural thing I think. I've never met someone with distain for animals, even other's pet dogs, than some of the Indian men I've known. I'm talking about folks who grew up in India, not just of Indian descent. I also know a grown man who's just terrified of dogs. He will jump out of his seat and want to run away if even a small cute little dog comes too close.

Yeah, they make them so cheap they can give you 3 machines over the life of the warranty.

Nobody cares if you smoke weed unless you're operating heavy equipment. Then it could be a liability, you might not be insurable. If you're doing harder drugs, that's a common precursor to theft, so the grocery store would like to know.

How many Indian men have you known?

Because of the proliferation of micro plastics in the water, soil, and organic life, we can't get rid of it. Every human infected with it gets much healthier, because their micro plastics are broken down, but are then seem as a threat vector for spreading it.

Meanwhile, the earthworms and animals are spreading it through our forests and wild lands.

Lots of folks like to talk about collapse. There are movies made about the different ways it might happen.

I want to see one in the very conceivable world where bacteria evolve to eat plastic. All plastic. Rapidly.

What would all the plastic turning to dust before we're ready for it do to the world?

Buildings collapsing or no longer being weather proof. Cars failing. Most of the electrical grid is down because the insulation sloughed off all the wires. Everything mechanical seizes up because the synthetic lubricants are so similar to plastic they are consumed too. Hospitals and sterilization are impossible.

I mean yeah. I make above that and it feels genuinely hard to keep up with the costs of living middle class in California.

Yeah, I used my psp as my original navigation system. You had to teather a stand alone Bluetooth GPS to it, and download your routes ahead of time. But it worked, and I used it to travel across the country.

I grew up in California near the bay area calling them weed whackers.

If I have beef with someone, I could punch them and go to jail.

But I can also bully them, humiliate them, degrade them, psychologically annihilate them even, and that's fine, legallly. Why?
