An ad blocker, on desktop and phone.
It blocks annoying ads and also protects you against malware (malvertisement).

You can set a registry value so that there is no upgrade to win 11, but I don't know if it only works on enterprise.
I always feel like an alarm clock is more reliable than a phone alarm anyway. It also helps putting the alarm clock at the other side of the room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off. This causes your body to wake up faster so you don't go back to sleep.

You can easily use something like a raspberry pi (or something else ARM-based like Friendlyelec CM3588) and attach some storage to it. It's really not difficult to setup a web server to share a directory.
