The odds for lots of sports betting literally change based on the bets made. Bookies, legitimate or not, shift the line and odds to account for the money on the line - they're never going to lose money if they can help it. The house always wins.

Because 95% of those people work with Linux, but not in it. OS X is BSD-based but close enough to make developing or supporting Linux machines simple. My entire infrastructure, thousands of servers, are all Linux, but most of the time I'm working on my Windows PC, and only occasionally do I break out my Macbook or Linux laptop. Love Linux, can't stand Apple, and I'm meh about MS except for gaming, but Linux as a desktop/workstation OS is still years behind OS X and Windows in ease of use. That said, I do not nor would I ever run either of those in any production capacity, just Linux.

This is the way. The butts sacrifice themselves for the greater good.

There are over one billion English speakers on this planet and only 1/3 of them are American, where the rhyme originates. So an American asking someone who has never heard the song before where they're from is a valid question for the other 700,000 English speaking humans from the 8+ countries where English is the most common language.

Get the fuck out of here with your Tucker Carlson "I'm just asking questions" bullshit. The little kids table is to the left of the soft serve machine.

This is just bullshit GOP deflection whenever someone calls it what it is.The AR in AR-15 may stand for Armalite, but an AR-15 is still an assault rifle.

The U.S. Army defines assault rifles as "short, compact, selective-fire weapons that fire a cartridge intermediate in power between submachine gun and rifle cartridges.

And

...examples of intermediate cartridges are the 7.92×33mm Kurz, the 7.62×39mm and 5.56×45mm NATO.

I agree with what you're saying for the most part, but for a population the size of Australia with 1000 respondents, a 99% confidence level has a margin of error of 4% which is perfectly acceptable. Unless the survey targeted very specific demographics versus a random sample, it should be very accurate.

Chimpanzees get up to five feet tall and have up to an 8 foot wingspan. The average human female is 5'4 "and males average 5'9" with a proportional wingspan. Chimps have a very high amount of fast twitch muscle fibers which are significantly stronger than the slow twitch muscle fibers that make up the majority of human muscles.

Chimps have extremely long arms with way more lean muscle mass. And that muscle mass is 50% stronger than a human's, making chimps 3-4 times stronger than the average human. It has massive incisors with a bite force of *** 1300 psi (8900 kPa}***. That's more than a grizzly bear's 950 psi.

You have a fighting chance against a wolf. You have zero chance unarmed against a full grown chimp. It will literally rip you apart with ease.

What part of buying a textbook for $250 then selling it back in like-new condition to the same retailer for $20 three months later is bad for the consumer?

Yes, assuming we're talking about DND, the player is asking if his total attack roll with modifiers is equal to or greater than the enemies armor class, which only the DM knows. If so, the attack hits. If not, it misses. An AC of 19 or more is pretty high for low level player characters.

The GPU is integrated and uses system RAM as VRAM. Increasing the available VRAM should improve performance in titles with lots of high-res textures.
