While that's currently true, I'm extremely curious to see the trends after 10-20 years. Does it stay productive or do problems start cropping up. My current job is strongly requested to be in-person once per week, but otherwise WFH. The occasional in-office definitely helps new hires and such, and I would not be surprised if jobs start moving towards a "wfh except once per week (or two weeks)" ordeal.

While probably true, this still probably gets him all wound up.

And if he wins the presidency, he's going to try to use his power to make those fits matter. I seriously don't see how people look at this man and think he's a good option.

I usually invent answers to those and store those answers in a password manager. Essentially turns them into backup passwords that can be spoken over the phone if necessary.

Where was I born? "Stallheim, EUSA, Mars"

Name of first pet? "Groovy Tuesday"

It's fun, usually.

More and more I try to find my entertainment elsewhere. I am slowly, but surely, migrating away from youtube (and google in general).

Both the love for Generative AI/LLM is overhyped, but so is the hate for it. They're actually pretty good tools, they won't save the world on their own in their current state.

Yes! I'm so sad they've moved away from this. I could pull out my phone AND unlock it in the same grab.

Rust is one of those things that every time I look into it, I don't really follow what makes it so good. What's a good starter project to learn the language and get a sense of what makes it worthwhile over the established stuff?

His wealth also doesn't mean we need to accept his wealth as valid.

He seems confident (R) will win the next election. Either presidency or enough of congress.

Yeah I'm vaguely remembering something similar. I have these faint whispers of a memory of my teacher forgetting (or probably, "forgetting") to cover something on the wall during a memorization test.

I used to queue videos up the night before, then be able to watch them on the ride to school. Then one day you couldn't do that anymore.
