Hmm, this makes me think of the tradition on certain parts of the internet where people publicly announce the name and crime of this convicted rapist. They'll explain where he's currently living, the name he's trying to go by, and bars he was seen at. This activity seems to stem from the outrage at the excessive leniency he was shown by the judge, although could also be protecting other potential victims.

I wonder if this kind of vigilante doxxing would fall under the scope of such a law, especially when his name is already in so many publications.

The remarks were made by Qiao Jie, deputy of Peking University Health Science Center and a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, at a conference on Tuesday.

The population in the Chinese mainland fell for the first time in 61 years in 2022, decreasing by a total of 850,000, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed.

Doesn't sound like clickbait at all to me. The viewpoint appears quite honest and genuine, and they go on to give sources for why they believe this matters. If you have contradicting stats, please share.

This is easy! You sell your house to a wealthy landlord and watch it get turned into a rental. And then you watch it sit vacant for a year because the landlord is asking triple a mortgage payment/month and a $300 application fee.

This is the world we live in. Where a twice-impeached convicted rapist who once represented this country- now has to be warned not to threaten witnesses in a trial where he’s accused of trying to overthrow his government- and… also happens to be the front runner in re-election.

I'm with you, ready for where you're gonna take me...

I now give up on America.

Goddamnit, no. That's not where you take this. You get angry, and you funnel your anger into something positive. You vote, you reach out to people, you contribute your time and energy supporting what you know is right, and you don't stop fighting. Unless of course you truly believe your side isn't worth fighting for. But from your first paragraph that doesn't seem to be the case.

Fight for what is right because your position is stronger, your supporters are smarter with better ethics. Recognize the dirty games the weak side is resorting to, and be right there to call it out and put a stop to it. We might be seeing the desperate, extreme death throes of a burning Republican party. But if you back off and throw your hands up, you give them the opportunity to manage the fire and keep trying to destroy this democracy.

They’re asking the court to get rid of that discriminatory denial so that they will not be barred from fostering or adopting children in the future, in Massachusetts or elsewhere.

Stop discriminating against our discrimination! Thanks for the good laugh, Michael and Catherine Burke.

First the Streisand effect led to her home. Now it leads to her entire discography. Poor Barbara Streisand.

I'll admit it, it was me. I mixed my paper with plastic. Sorry everyone.
