I’m from Chile and whenever you’re in a jam and an ambulance needs to get through, cars move out of their way to let it through. In Santiago, at least. We also stop at zebra crossings to let pedestrians cross.

Add some shredded white and red cabbage for extra deliciousness.

As a Latin American, it seems to me that Christian fanaticism is so wide spread in the US it almost feels cartoonish, like the sort of general impression one gets from any cult or fundamentalist religious group. And I’m from Latin America!

I'm constantly making a conscious effort to avoid going back to reddit. It's not been easy, as it was my most used app maybe after youtube, but I've succeed so far. Last december I deleted my twitter account I created back in 2009. It hurt a bit, but I survived and found a nice place on a Mastodon instance. My reddit account is 11 years old, and I'll be deleting it too, soon. It'll hurt too, I know, but I'll survive too. Lemmy is my new home.
