The systems China is comfortable selling to countries like Egypt or some Gulf Country in the future are systems they have domestic evolutions or replacements of, different and superior to a significant enough degree. Inferior to stuff the US has probably as well. As such they most likely judge whatever info america can obdain as non vital to their security and not some advantage for the americans. You cant avoid selling stuff to countries who do close buisness with the US MIC either way, that isnt a deal breaker even for Russia's relatively modern system exports.

Funny how the J-16D is leading the formation of 5G platforms and should be comfortably the most expensive plane in these photos. Shouldnt the j-15D be the growler equivalent tho? Being carrier based and all. Does the US operate a lamd based EW fighter platform like the j-16D?
Also it would be interesting to know the fleet numbers for these platforms. I think i have seen smth around 70 airframes but i dont remember where or if that was for the 16D and 15D variants all together
Its more likely a US led effort giving more concession, basicaly this sounds like extra chip concessions, and has to do with the fact that China has barely loosened Rare Earth export controls and prermits after the "deal". And thats much more urgent for the US than ethane or whatever not flowing so it only makes sense that the US is whinning again and maybe offering more
https://www.wsj.com/world/china/china-rare-earths-exports-2fd0dab4 This was reported just yesterday
RE are a huge card and china will be milking it until the US actualy does an actual concession of impact. Which it probably wont do and keep to it. So this will be staying
Of all the ghouls China might welcome in some dumbass event someone Kissinger related is pretty inoffensive considering Chinese attitudes towards Kissinger for historical reasons.
Iran needs to do some purges cause i doupt China wants to give them modern systems for them to get blown up by a Mossad agent firing rpgs from neighbouring parking lot. It also needs to drop any tech transfer requirements for deals and actualy fastrack an actual intergration with China economicaly and into their "sphere". Last thing china needs is to make an effort to arm iran and them some dumbass reformist wing gaining prominence in 5-10 years looking to turn west
werent even a lot of irgc and government people using non chinese phones and apps for communication. Like what the fuck are we doing
I have read from some PLA watchers that last time after the UN arms embargo ended and wasnt renewed deals with China werent made for a couple of reason. Yeah China being cautious about gulf states, israel and america freaking out was a reason (it was what 2019/2020?) but equaly important is that Iran, beyond being very unenthusiastic and flip floppy about joining sides and falling into chinas sphere of influence and also being difficult with the payment system or other possible geopolitical stuff they could offer China, they really wanted to attach Tech Transfer and co-production stuff to the deals. Also they didnt want to give air defense and air force built up a priority resources wise compared to the money and focus purring to missile program, nuclear program and proxis founding. Plus this was pre Ukraine war and they drifted towards Russian systems and deals.
Idk what China is open to giving them but assuming Iran acts with the desperation, commitment and urgency its position requires and ditch some of their delusions and offer and fasttrack some stuff in non military apsects im sure they can get some stuff.

The biggest load that we've seen, from the standpoint of cum.
No country pours military equipment into another country without the prospect of strong influence and alliance and without having a strategic reason to. Not even the ussr did in most cases. China didnt sell NK military shit because NK didnt want to. NK didnt want to because they have nukes and are extremely warry of increased chinese influence and have been since the mao years. They have a standing mutual defense pact with China already since the korean war. They have nukes. They get military shit from russia because Russia needed the cooperation and approached them. Also while yes China followed a lot of the sanctions for NK they dont that much in the last couple of years. And Iran had enough of a window where there were no weapons related sanctions against them for china to follow and not sell them previous generation shit. And it is proven that in aspects that really matter and that iran really needs like missilie components or oil sales China doesnt give much of a shit for iranian sanctions now
At the end of the day 90% of the increasing doomerism, critique or negativity towards things, and china in particulalar is justifyiable anger about China's relative innaction towards the genocide in palestine from people that are hopeless, living in countries that directly found and facilitate the genocide and not being able to square the China that they have been hopefull about as a socialist force of good with the extreme suffering that is allowed to so shamelessly happen. I dont have the answers here. Im just saying that the whole shift has little to do with any real shift in China's own economic or developmental policy or even foreign policy compared to 1-2-3-5 years ago, or some slide back to neoliberalism or whatever. Any reasons one had to believe some years ago, after analysing China's system and choices, that they are on the right path and are doing socialism and slowly solving their contradictions and overtaking the US and gaining in the balance of power etc etc they can find the same ones still being true and even more validated and clear. The sentiment driving and allowing that mood shift comes from the other stuff
As far as specific users go imma be honest, ever since i saw XHS buying and using some obvious anti-china slop stories like some Chinese sub(s) sinking sourced from some taiwanese tabloid and a single sexpat analyst to doom post, i cant take them too seriously about other matters either. You cant find those comments because XHS deletes everything and has changed like 5 accounts in two years but still despite that i have made some effort posts against some of their most "interesting" claims. But its increasinlgy meaningless to argue Pekingology but from a "find the neoliberalism" perspective based on assertions and stats that can be sourced, explained and used 5 different ways . Reality itself is and will bring the receipts. The reality im seeing isnt one that aligns with negative coverage of pretty much every single Chinese foreign, monetary or developmental choice that happened in the last 2-3 years (they have spoken favorably about things that happened before they started commenting, and things no one can deny like tech or industrial development but almost never about any contemporary choise or moves, and that favorable coverage of past moves is to say "Back then i actualy thought this and they were doing the good thing but i was naive and they libed up now") and where every other US foreign or monetary policy move was a correct chess move for the empire. Sorry if thats presumptious but its increadibly easy to just dismiss super serious monetary analysis when i remember that they also intermittently post YT/ Twitter threads tier slop like this for years:
For now i will simply glance over a comment quickly, shrug and say to myself "meh, i'll believe it when i see it".
