ApNews seems to be one of the worst offenders.

Awesome news, thanks for taking the time to investigate and, hopefully, resolve.

This would most likely be the cause as the majority are from instances that you refer posting links from the sites you mention.

No, and in last 9 months I've rarely seen weblink preview broken

I've tried with standard WebUI , Voyager android app and next.

This only appears to be happening with my lemm.ee account I have an account on another instance and that's fine. 🤔

3 months to my cake day after moving from a defunct Lemmy instance in the early days of R****t migrations.

All I can say is thanks to you and all the contributors for making this a safe and stable Lemmy instance for now and into the future that I'm happy to call home.

Yes bit not yet released and has been in backlog for 2 years, not great for a mainstream browser.

[–] hellequin67@lemm.ee 2 points 4 months ago

No, i mean like a tab bar like every other android browser and desktop.

Every other android browser supports tab bar for browsers on wide devices , the one exception FF.

I want a desktop type experience on my tablet not a phone UX.

You could try https://2fas.com/ open source mobile application with browser extensions and cloud sync for backups.

Or www.bitwarden.com password manager is also open source and for a small "premium" supports 2FA for mobile/desktop/browser.
