I recently had to install windows for a research project and the fact the “latest version” i downloaded moments before needed to update while installing and then again needed to update twice after it was installed pissed me off way more than it should.
Also gotta love that my laptop can go 5+hrs on a charge with arch and xfce but lasts less than 2hrs on windows.
Start talking about something and get so lost on tangents trying to explain all the precursory information they need to understand that original thing I haven’t explained yet that I’m now debating something entirely unrelated and have forgotten the original point I’m trying to make.
Bonus points if I end up losing my train of thought during one of the tangents and now don’t even know what I said two seconds ago and have still forgotten the original point I was trying to make.
Also not being able to do simple things I plan/need to do, like laundry or writing an email, but then spend 4hrs straight building something incredibly complex from scratch just to test a random theory I had that has no other usefulness.
What a terrible day to have eyes…

Not to be that guy, but the top image is AI generated so this might be pushing the definition of “antique meme” a little. Stable diffusion is only like three years old right?
It’s the rotting flesh that’s the problem! The slug just goes straight through with minimal resistance whatsoever. Last time it went through and ended up shattering one of my garden gnomes, and the damn beast just stood up on its hind legs and walked away unscathed… it was one of my good garden gnomes too…
I recently made a decision to transfer colleges in order to save my mental health. This meant I’d have to take on a few student loans, but with FAFSA it still felt manageable, and it has significantly improved my life.
However, If financial assistance from the government drops, the chances I will be able to afford school long enough to graduate drop significantly too.
I’m not super jazzed about that; though, I still think the transfer was worth it.
Oh yeah, also, I just recently got medicated for ADHD and it’s what’s let me start to pull my life together, but adderall might get banned so… rip me.
Maybe I’ll take up smoking lol. I mean that as a joke, but what a world when clinically safe, prescribed meds might get banned but literal cancer causing, heavy metal filled, habit forming drugs are going to be legal forever…
