I've got a brick for EU/UK/USA/AUS plugs with 3 type a and 1 type c and an international multiplug ac/ac pass through.

One of the concerns I would have with custom ROMs for TVs is that I think a lot of the image processing magic that makes the image look good on these high end displays is done in some proprietary method that the custom ROM wouldn't be able to use. Either in software or in hardware.

The magic of the high end TVs isn't actually in the panel itself as much as in the driving of the panel.

My Mazda has the same controls and I've never really felt like they're hard to find. The button layout makes a lot of sense and the large center wheel is easy to find so you can use it as a reference point to find the other buttons easily (I pretty much just use the home and music buttons and that volume knob).

Cut your nose to spite your face then. You'll keep paying for genocide even if you won't "vote for it."

The things you can do are support groups and politicians that will push the country in the direction you want it to move. Really think about what action (or inaction) does for the things that matter to you. You have an opportunity to do something to help reduce overall suffering and make the country and world a slightly better place.

That part of Chile is almost 100 miles of desert. Croatia is only like 10-20 miles wide in that area!

So you have three options, all having a bad outcome on the most important thing you care about.

One of the options maybe has better outcomes on some other things you care about.

Another option has bad outcomes in almost everything you care about, plus maybe even a worse outcome to your most important thing.

The third option is to leave it up everyone else to pick between the first two.

I know what I'd pick, what will you do?

Sounds like copium to me. The neolibs have really figured out how to placate the masses. Things aren't bad enough and the media keeps the majority unaware.

The trump AI was way to succinct and didn't get distracted constantly cutting himself off every 10 words.

That has to be a meme post. Black Ops SIX? You're joking. This is a picture from 2018.

The Ultimate 2.4 has right now bluetooth and hall effect sensors as well. I couldn't get it to pair with the switch though I didn't try super hard. It works on Bluetooth with my Android TV but for whatever reason ignores the customized buttons (I keep accidentally pressing the wing buttons on the bottom) so I use the dongle on the TV.

It's really just a shortening of "a week from Saturday", so more of a dialect than language thing.

There's no need to make these things Big Tech, so if that's why you are opposed to it, reconsider what you are actually opposed to. This could be implemented in a FOSS way or an open standard.

So you not trust HTTPS because you'd have to trust big tech? Microsoft and Google and others sign the certificates you use to trust that your are sending your password to your bank and not a phisher. Like how any browser can see and validate certificates, any camera could have a validation or certificate system in place to prove that the data is straight from an unmodified validated camera sensor.

Recently I started noticing that a lot of posts will mark as read for a second then go back to unread when viewing just the image or article. It's not all posts though and I haven't determined a pattern yet, but opening the comments seems to mark as read on refresh even though the post looks unread before refreshing.

I'm on version 122 of Sync on Android.

*** Solved: it was pointed out there is a Lemmy setting that enables showing read posts, rather than a Sync setting.

At some point I think I enabled a setting to hide read posts automatically, but now I can't seem to find a way to stop this behavior. There is also no method to unhide posts. So now once I've read a post, after I refresh it is gone forever in the app.

Tried resetting all settings back to default and erased user data in android but it seems stuck, maybe to my user account?
