Tradgedy of the commons is usually a glib argument ending remark made when you point out the theft of the commons taking place, or the privatising of profits with socialized losses. Its meant to uphold theft as a feature of democratic capital supremacy.

Nope. Too many people making skynet. The dogs and goggles will do nothing.

5kg for 1.125^2^ square meters. About 50mm high/thick. $105 filament cost. Could be much less filament/print time with "speed holes" in depth. He also uses very dense "hexagon fill patterns". He put in an extra step to cover seams so it would not look lego-ey. Many alternate section joining techniques including raised front and back strips, and center patterns that lock sections without locking to each other.

https://kumikowoodworking.com/design/ has this pattern: https://kumikowoodworking.com/products/tn-114/

which is a strip design, and center sections could use a "center joint" with center patterns recessed from "strucutral stips"

There is a guitar made from wood process that requires a lot of woodworking gear and much more assembling/fine tuning time, so this would be easier.

Aparently you have to ask for the price of the fillament. Rule of thumb for not being able to afford it.

Cool. Could there also be structural applications for say light walls/doors of bicycle campers?

100% effective dragon and vampire repellant too.

This bike would have 100 mile range under 25 or even 20 lbs, where most other ebikes would not be able to be pedaled as efficiently to do such a ride.

I will survive original is pretty iconic masterpiece and hard not to sing along to. But a rock/funk version you ask?

Don't stop believing is far more overplayed crap I do hate, though.

Don't you want me baby. Bananaphone. Feelings. But actually Don't you want me baby is the only one that doesn't stick in my head.

LIDAR used to be too expensive and bulky. Some Chinese cars now have sleek integrated LIDAR. Rain should have been figured out by now if cameras only can do it. Does FSD work in rain?

Rain in urban areas is only condition where biking (or sometimes walking) is not sufficiently pleasant to get there faster and cheaper. Busy time for taxis.

Not only are pig fucker mega tech profiting off Canadians tax free, and among the richest companies in the world, they are CIA/US empire militarist enablers/cooperators who will happily enslave Canadians to that empire. The fearmongering you are programmed about CCP allied companies, should be 1000x higher with US's declared war on Canada, and their tech companies.

Their profit extortion alone (not even revenues) is sufficient to overcome whatever small surpluses Canada has enjoyed over US in good trade. It is categorically treasonous and sickening that Canada's leadership continues military alignment with US.

Pushing over Russian red lines is what got Ukraine special military operation. It can result in strikes on NATO eventually too. US political leadership attempting to resolve situation may protect them more than its colonies still in rabid Russophobia/CIA deep state mode.

Ukraine would owe familied $2B if it accepted the bodies. Victims of nazi regime coercion that will sacrifice every last conscript for anti-Russia empire geopolitics, see it as last straw against their cannon fodder slavery.

6000 soldiers since last month is also a very large number that has averaged 1000 or so per month. 10 to 1 ratio of Ukrainian to Russian dead, btw, at least over last year.

16gb ram. nvida GTX1650. Triple monitors

want to run existing windows 10 installation in VM, with write access. This is mostly for tax software.

plan is new SSD drive. Make 2 partitions for windows, with backup to both. Let it be C: drive? Then reformat PCIe M2 drive for linux.

I only care about the VM not FUBARing the windows installation, even if I have a 2nd backup of it.

I play one game that has a linux version: beyond all reason.

I've used debian/ubuntu based linux before. I don't need/want to highly customize performance/features. Just working out of box.

Citing costs of F35 and Abrahms tanks.

Chinese Aluminum pries are 1/3 and Steel prices 1/2 of US, and so ironically, one of the few import countries that can compete with inflated protectionist US prices.

Canada has taken an embarrassingly weak response to US attack on it. Still cooperating with US miltary, and yet to cancel F35s and other weapons purchases.

I guess the collective western public timidity can get Trump to TACO with private non movement over time, but more aggressive expansion of international relationships without confronting US evil would be more proactive while still publicly timid. Instead process looks like gaslighting their own people until further subjugation is imposed on them.

News is that headlines authorizing Merz speaking on behalf of US and EU majors, was without such an explicit agreement/discussion.

Op half focuses on war on china half on empire expansion.

It's really empire expansion that is dramatic political turn in us. Need for eu and canada to help destroy usa, and cooperate closer with China is Only path to stop the extortion.

The us is not capable of taking on China militarily any more. But pretending it can, can make weapon salesmen rich.

Instead of a BS "rearmament ceasefire" that will require Ukraine to retreat until they break their BS ceasefire, Ukraine/Europe is in a position to agree to demilitarization of Ukraine in exchange for demilitarization of Russia. Europe seems stuck on losing a provoked war against Russia, just because their people have already been brainwashed on that being the bestest idea every 100 years.
