I think it's a new feature with the latest update, not something that's always been there.

There's PTCG Live, which is basically the digital implementation of the physical game with the exact same cards and rules. The real-life booster packs usually come with a QR code to scan in Live that gives you a digital pack to open.
Pocket is like a casual version of the real TCG, with simplified battle rules for quicker games, and there's more of a focus on collecting than just battling. Because of the different rules, you can't just reuse the real TCG cards in Pocket, so the cards are unique to Pocket, but there's sometimes reuse of the artwork.
Giratina seems best to me
I started watching his videos after someone linked one here, and what he says about a wealth tax seems to be almost obvious, it's amazing there's no mainstream drive for it. He does kind of explain why in some other videos. Really hope it gets enough traction to become mainstream (because otherwise our lives are just going to get worse), and I'm happy he's getting airtime to voice it.
I had the same thing for about two years - it was because I had blocked all bots in Lemmy settings when I first set up...
Edit: if you're talking about the bot. If you're talking about this post, I don't know
Yeah, he's been there for a year now. He's probably the biggest name to ever play in Korea, and there was a huge amount of interest in him at the start, but he's really settled and it feels normal to see him now.
To give context, the guy who scored the banger (Jeong Seung-won) for FC Seoul ran to the other end of the pitch to the away end. Daegu is his former club (although he's been at two other clubs before joining Seoul) and it ended badly - I thought he would have let it go by now, but obviously not.
The guy who scored the last goal (Moon Seon-min) - that's just his trademark celebration and I love it. E.g.,

Why are they banning knives and swords category by category (e.g., zombie knives, ninja swords) instead of a broader ban?
That's handy. It's basically a way to get an ex card for free.
It took me a couple of battles to notice it, but yeah, they people with basic names, make their plays instantly, and have rubbish decks are just bots. I sent a friend request to one, but it never replied. When you're still in the beginner rank, it seems to match you with a bot again if you lose against a real person.
I thought I would pass this after doing the three AI battles to get the small reward ... But there's hourglass rewards depending on which rank you finish in, up to 100 max. I won't aim for 100, but I'll see how far I get before I get frustrated.
Mainly looking for STS 1-star cards right now:
