That’s unfortunate, because it’s the opposite of my experience. Maybe I just don’t care, and/or I’ve gotten better at spotting the warning signs of trivial bullshit and then ignoring it.

The trolls feel like insecure outsiders who haven’t matured enough to “get” Lemmy. It’s like they know they aren’t taken seriously, and want the imaginary clout they had on Reddit.

Not a mustard fan, tries mustard soup anyway, discovers something wonderful. This may be a trivial example, but it’s the key to living life!

They’re talking about the money. It’s the income that’s renewable, not the company.

That’s because for a gobsmacking number of people, judicial decisions are the absolute final word. My attitude wouldn’t be nearly so cynical if we were talking about an average person, like you or me.

For this putrid waste of oxygen, though, judicial decisions are just another inconvenience for his lawyers to appeal, delay, or simply ignore. It doesn’t even matter if those lawyers are incompetent. Some magical circumstances always seem to protect him from consequences.

As far as I’m concerned, he has not genuinely suffered any consequences until he ACTUALLY pays up or goes to prison.

This is the ideal meme format. Pedro’s smile is perfect.

Interesting. I was unaware of that.

Thank you for the link. It’s important for everyone to read, especially those who don’t understand why “carbon footprint” has recently become a joke on Lemmy.

You provide an excellent example regarding training requirements. As part of those, I would also like to include safe use and home storage.

Yes, I’m American.

If a trail is off limits to motorized vehicles, then it’s off limits to motorized vehicles. That should be the end of the discussion.

If someone thinks the laws are unfair and should be changed, then they should fight to change those laws. The worst thing they can do is be a smug asshole who thinks they’re justified in breaking the law because their motorized vehicle is “different”.

People with second amendment bumper stickers on their trucks seem to selectively forget the “well regulated” part.

Experience. Learning when it’s okay not to give a fuck, and when I definitely should.
