Yeah known issue on our end (not sure if upstream knows about it). The PostComment method does a bunch of extra stuff after actually creating the comment, like sending notifications, clearing your own notifications, etc. I imagine one of those is doing a db query that just takes forever and times out at some point

@Angel@hexbear.net do you have anything out of the ordinary on your account? Do you have maybe 100,000 unread notifications or something

Just finished Metaphor: Refantazio. Awful game to play as a communist. Absolutely insufferable idealism is the core plot driver.

The rpg elements of the game are alright; an incremental improvement on persona 5. Combat is decent.

The beginning of the game is alright. But by maybe the 3rd town, i was skipping all the social link dialogues. Lots of writing fluff for every scene, made getting through it a complete slog. Also played the game with a cheat trainer and 2.5x speed. Glad to be done with it lol.

edit: also, really really glad it got cracked and i didn't spend the $70 i planned on for it.

i'm moderately enjoying it as a JRPG, but the politics are so awful.

Ah well i mostly care about only the official lemmy-ui. All the other frontends are awful and missing major stuff anyways. Yeah, the image stuff is lacking, but lemmy at least keeps track of all images uploaded by users, whether they are posted or not.

any suggestions about the modlog? or lemmy app in general?
