i suppose youre right, we are all looking for someone to blame. but it is true that they ultimately hold power over, well pretty much everything. what can we as individuals do?
minnieo
i did not mean it that way, sorry. i was just trying to comfort the person who was in distress. we 100% do need to take action, but its not us as individuals causing it. i personally cannot make the rich stop wanting to get richer and fucking our planet over to milk as much profit as they can. it just sucks all around
i don't know if this will help, but technology is advancing at a faster rate every single day. perhaps a potential solution will appear out of these advancements
can you give sources where they explicitly don't say this? i'd like to ease my anxiety as well
i am not able to simply paste images through the clipboard, im forced to open file explorer. nothing happens if i try to paste.
however, this extension works fine (restart firefox after installing and enabling 'dom.events.asyncClipboard.clipboardItem' in about:config): https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/clipboard2file/
they have been reinstated, thats confirmed and you ca go look and confirm for yourself, im talking about i never saw an apology from any admin or reddit
I didn't see anything about an apology, where can i see this?
r/mildlyinteresting did not encourage it, and Reddit lied about that, and their removal and suspension was revoked by a different admin than the one who removed and suspended them. Here is the post, "The Reddit Admins are lying - r/MildlyInteresting did NOT allow or encourage users to post ANY sexually explicit content, see draft of now-deleted announcement":
Yes, at this point, there is really no fucking saving it or hoping for changes, they will go as far as they need to go to get their profits back up. It must be abandoned. The only time I ever spend on reddit is to convince people to migrate to kbin or lemmy (nicely, dont be annoying)
to me, it was surprising just how easy the fediverse was to understand if i stopped trying to think about it how i was taught to think by centralized platforms.
at first, i was really hesitant to migrate. i was confused by kbin, lemmy, mastodon, and especially the fediverse. i didn't think i could ever understand it. i wasn't confident in it. but, after a few hours of exploring, interacting, watching people talk about it and reading explanations, it clicked into place and suddenly made sense, a whole lotta sense. now, i am actually teaching others about what the fediverse is with little to no trouble and helping them migrate to kbin from reddit, and thats amazing. having tons of fun here! 👍
mod of the foxnews mag lmfao. oh man, it keeps getting better and better
