Yes, I even ran every character through unicode search to make sure that none of them are different characters than what I thought. All of them were ASCII.

Meanwhile microsoft's exchange online can't even prevent attackers from spoofing microsoft.com as the sender. I nearly got caught by a fake quarantine notification once. The thing that made me suspicious was that the fake login page only took a second to load. The real one is never that fast.

The entire quarantine BS is trying to reinvent the wheel of the spam folder and causes a shitload of headaches for our internal IT.

Not bad packages

I've made the opposite experience. There were loads of snap-specific issues when I used ubuntu. So many that I now recommend not using ubuntu just because of snaps.

I just use hacker news for tech stuff. If an article on there is BS, you can be sure that someone will call that out in the comments after about 5 minutes. And if not, there's almost always a good discussion with very few insults.

Für Bücher gibt es recht viele Sammelstellen. Vielleicht lohnt es sich, dort mal nachzufragen.

But it's nothing special, those things were built like absolute tanks. You could kill someone with an early model M and then go right back to typing.

You don't need an exhaust manifold, you need an intimidator!

Sounds like a very good offer, I doubt black friday prices will be better.

I made it a habit to regurgitate names in my head multiple times after I heard them but it still happens way too often.

This part is hard but you need to push yourself through it. The worst thing that can happen is that no conversation develops and you have to do it again.

Another favorite of mine is walking around to see what different groups are talking about. If there's a topic that you know about, just ask them if that's indeed the topic of the conversation and if it is, you just joined.

If getting drunk around a campfire counts as a party, that ban needs an exception. If the bluetooth speakers are dead at 2am, someone pulling out a guitar is the best thing that can happen.

Distrobox was made for this exact use case.
