I hope the state supreme court allows them to keep their right to a jury trial. It clearly states in our 7th amendment it is preserved for any case above $20 and that it will always be upheld. There is no alternative in the wording, it is so clearly written and if it is ignored I want to see all the judges bank account and donations because the constitution for jury trials are clearly written and cannot be told in any other way.

Great roommates, also make sure you get an ouija board and remind them to pay rent every month.

The capacitor plague era, ever wonder why we don't see a lot of PC's in the early 2000s, this is why as everything with a cap would fail and kill the boards, essentially having to call on the oem to fix it.

Sugar is the reason for the rise of heart disease that was happening in US. John Yudkin was the one to purpose that sugar was dangerous for our bodies and heart plus responsible for obesity but he couldn't prove it and was criticized by his scientist who were paid by the sugar industry. I forget to state the sugar industry was funding scientist to blame it all on fat. It was a pseudoscience till the 70s and 80s when they found the correlation that Yudkin was missing.

Julius Caesar declaring himself an emperor, the celebration and seeing the man that essentially turned rome from a powerful republic to the most powerful empire with a military that dominated majority of europe.

UN general assembly majority vote, but security council, the permanent members all need to agree as even one nay is a veto.

Why is no one mentioning, that under the 14th amendment, there is literally no statement on whether or not its state or congress power. All it says is they just become ineligible when they committed the insurrection. The only power given to congress is, you can override it and allow them to run again. Supreme Court seems to ignore the entire wording, if they agree that trump committed the insurrection is factual, than he should be ineligible per the wording.

The wording is similar to criminal law rather than amendment, be a politician who decides to rebel or commit an insurrection than no more politics for you. This was also written to make sure no one in the confederacy to run in politics, and if that's the case than its also the case that trump cannot run, as its automatically applied.

That woman is a fucking asshole, censuring the brutality on slavery of the plantation that had majority of the history there. She definitely wants to glorify slavery to be good and wants it back as there is no someone believes this unless she is trying to change it was acceptable to own people at time and that people should own slaves again. She should have her channel remove for misinformation. At the time slavery was brutal, and was not socially acceptable to some at the time as some of the founding father wanted to end slavery in america even though they were hypocrites some wanted to end slavery.

True, there was many but commodus I think was the stepping stone to the fall as the shithead essentially almost bankrupted rome and caused civil wars since he was so shitty he did not have a kid.

Also, the big issue is people assume migrants take jobs, they usually take the jobs americans do not want to work as and shows it with the labor force in florida with agriculture, majority I believe work in agriculture.

Gladiator, it seemed like in the ending rome may have had hope in survival but Commodus damage became the first stepping stone that led to the fall of the roman empire.

So moderators/admins, I am the founder and moderator of c/politics. For context, I hired a moderator who I will not name, but he is controversial with users for his views and demand he be remove. I ignored them and continued with my day, then later I received this message from him.

Is he impersonating an admin to try to get us to remove the user as I don't see an admin on his name and his account was created 7 days ago. Just asking if you guys heard of him.

Thanks, yeah just an impersonator trying to get me to remove an important mod.

Let's welcome the new moderators of c/politics.
