Nah, those guys are above the law. It's not like anything happened the hundreds of other times the government has been caught violating the constitution or acting illegally.

Yeah, things will have to get worse, but when there's no peaceful means of fixing the problem...

I'm not advocating for violence, I can just recognize that they're guaranteeing it. A much better resolution would be to amend the constitution to allow votes of no confidence, but that'll never happen.

Unfortunately it'll likely get thrown out since the SC ruled that the police don't have any obligation to protect people.

If you're a Christian, yes. Not killing people is supposed to be like their number one rule.

If so, it's a pretty weak one.

Qualified immunity only protects cops from civil suits, not criminal charges.

Prosecution doesn't go after them because they're on the same team.

As a Texan, this is very surprising. Great job, Grand Jury.

Things will have to get a lot worse before people rise up, but it'll happen eventually.

Iirc, interpersonal communication between cats is done at a frequency that humans can't hear, which is part of why they yell at us.

We have one cat with likely brain damage (he got super sick as a kitten) who tries to communicate with us on that frequency, so it looks like he's silently meowing.

That same situation is how we figured out my wife has adhd.

That was my experience with cocaine. I just sat there and trioled my high score on snake while my friends were partying.

Somewhere between just 18-25% of veterans get the benefits they're entitled to, and the VA wants to keep it that way.

It's fucking disgusting

It would be helpful, for those of us who have pictures load in our feed, to have the option to have those posts marked as read after voting.

This would eliminate the need to click on every picture to use other "marked as read" features.
