Really depends on your language. In french lamps are females for example.
The one time payment to remove ads costs 17€. It's not cheap but it's nowhere near 135€.
Some of them are drop-in replacements. You can create an alias and use the command as before, but you get a better interface (and sometimes better speed as well).
You can decompress directly to the destination with 7zip as well. You just need to use the "extract" button instead of doing a drag and drop.
