Bloodlines 2 looks like a trainwreck, so good luck making a game that lives up to mage. Maybe changeling would be a better call.
True, but at this point i can't say that's a bad thing. Not many places in this country are even decent, but those that are are being held down by the red states. Sure, I'd have to escape my shithole state if it happened, but at least where i end up would have the chance to be better than what we have now. And the red states would completely collapse, allowing anyone who does stay the opportunity to reform them.

A career? Fuck that noise, statistically you will never make enough to make the effort worth it, get a job that offers you what you need and doesn't demand more bullshit from you (although i understand some places just won't let this happen). Family? Frankly i think having kids is a mistake regardless, but once they are old enough you shouldn't be a helicopter parent anyway. A partner? Good partners let you have some time for yourself and your hobbies (and that goes both ways!).

The best hope he has for getting people to support him again is probably having ex devs like the vintage story guy tear into him. Until someone who actually does do something tells me he is an idiot but does actually care about releasing a game I'm gonna assume he's grifting or treating the game the as a hobby he plans on dying without finishing.
There is just so much bullshit here it's hard to decide what i want to talk about. A friendly state? Israel? Bullshit. And the idea that a country just doesn't need to follow laws means law isn't real in that country.
