The Linux driver isn't the most straightforward to install but it's not difficult. You have to install the installer first, then install the driver with the installer.

Only caveat is you don't get the adrenaline software, but it's kind of a moot point as it wouldn't work anyway due to how Linux works.

I'm running Ubuntu 22.04, was using gnome but switched over to KDE and stopped getting crashes in certain games and got a small performance increase. I suppose that would be due to dropping Wayland for X when I moved to KDE.

Swapped over to a 7800XT about 3 months ago. Better Linux performance, tested a bit on Windows also and it worked fine, I'm more than satisfied with my decision to hop over from my 3060.

I just want to point out that Bernie Sanders did condemn them for their actions. While he admits that they have a right to defend themselves (which is fair) they absolutely do not have the right to outright slaughter innocent people amounting to a genocide. Which is what they are doing.

That being said I agree with everything else you said.

If all it takes to ruin a friendship is not playing a game with someone then I would reevaluate whether they were actually my friends and not just casual acquaintances.

When Citizens United gets overturned (i.e. never).

I actually went ahead and got a Sprite Neo and put it on the other day, installed Klipper after digging around for a printer.cfg for the Max Neo and finally finding one.

Now I'm just going through making sure everything is configured, levelled, and working properly as I have time.

I've actually been looking into that, need to finish this project I'm working on first but it's definitely something I'm considering.

I would eventually like to go to direct drive and potentially add another extruder at some point so I can print in multiple colors and print models that require supports using a different filament like PVA.

Basically looking to overhaul it and give it a bit more functionality.

I already have a raspberry pi with octoprint on it and a camera with remote access so I can check on it from time to time or send prints to it without the need to bother with the SD card.

I will definitely look into the things you mentioned also. I've got aftermarket springs on it already.

This is interesting but the press is shifting as it's pressing on the prints which tells me that the press itself isn't even stable, so the conclusions are questionable at best.

Try commenting out that one drive and see if the others work. It may be hanging on that one drive and ignoring the others because they come after it.

Is there a reason you have backslashes in your mount point there or is that just a typo from posting here?

This is probably just a use of different words to not sound repetitive.

Before anyone starts screaming at me. I'm not taking sides.

The whole thing is fucked and I don't know enough about it all to form an educated opinion. Ethnic genocide does appear to be what's happening with my limited knowledge and that is insane, but even in this day and age I am not surprised in the least. That's as far as my opinion goes on the matter.
