Could there be a setting for the other way too, like making the white text more grey to decrease contrast between pure black background and white text.

Notifications work well, but I noticed that tapping on arctic notifications opens the post in the in-app-browser inside arctic.
I love the update, community jumper is also a nice addition.
Btw, I am unable to enable notifications, is this server related?
Edit: Enabling notifications now worked after a restart, strange.

Would it also be possible in the future to quickly create notifications using the ellipsis menu in communities/posts/profiles?
Like a simple pre-configured "subscribe to new posts/comments".

It would actually be nice to be able to remove the info stack, to move it to the top or to change it with the ellipsis button.
Basically if you could build your own post/comment view with widgets, including user/community name etc.; that would be awesome.
It’s not mentioned in the changelog: the info widget is now left/right aligned, thanks! That improves the UI a lot.
I noticed that the messages/inbox still have the "old" post/comment UI, is that intended?
!arctic@lemmy.world is pretty awesome. It has notification including watchers and supports 0.19 and is a native swift app and very smooth and polished. It’s still in TestFlight beta.
