This is highly relatable to me as I've gotten older. I find it more concerning that others can't live with their own thoughts and feel it's necessary to drown them out with constant noise.

Yet you're comfortable declaring that they refuse to replace it. I'm sure you can see why those two statements are contradictory.
My sentiments exactly. I cannot possibly fathom wasting mental energy on such a mundane thing.
