an image is an image, dark or light mode no? should be rendered the same, so I'm not sure what dark mode would have to do with weird borders or anything

not to actually use it, and my retinas thank me every day. though I do are with that clean and fresh look you talk about, but it just hurts my eyes too much

there's dark mode on windows, and most system apps follow (notepad, files, etc.) though more "in depth" apps don't (regedit and the like(basically the stuff normal users don't touch))
