Same here. My company uses ruby (on rails) and golang and ruby is by far the language that gives me the most joy. One of our projects has reached a size where I really wish ruby had a built-in type system but other than that it is a really great language and by all means it is fast enough for most use cases.

War davon bisher nicht betroffen. Wie läuft so ein Anruf ab? Und was passiert, wenn man nicht auflegt? Ich denke an sowas wie eine SSH Tarpit für Spamanrufe.
Das meiste sind sogar Feature Requests. Wäre für mich aber prinzipiell auch eine ganz einfache Nummer. Die Leute sollen mir Geld geben und ich baue das Feature. Aber das wollen die Leute komischer weise dann wieder auch nicht.
Mach nicht den Fehler und publishe irgendwelche Bibliotheken, die du mal für deine Firma gebaut hast auf GitHub. Dann darfst du dich von Leuten anschreien lassen die keine Ahnung haben und mit deiner gratis Arbeit unzufrieden sind.
Is it though? Considering the amount of time you spent in it and the potential productivity increase it might give you I'd consider it very fairly priced.
