For what it's worth, proper food etc pays off with these guys. According to some of the chain markets near me (PetSmart and Petco) they can live up to 15 years.

I personally use UniFi 6 dishes for my APs, and am never going back to "consumer".
A note unsaid: typically these also handle band steering and roaming awareness. This means that you can walk from one AP to another and they will connect you seamlessly without fighting over who is stronger, and will adapt to prevent collisions.
Not sure about Aruba (almost guaranteed they have the same), but you want the options to deploy a Wifi config universally across your house, with each member being aware of and cooperating with the others. In UniFi case, they will occasionally scan the spectrum and auto assign the channels for what is least crowded in the range. The group automatically avoids each other during this process and it's beautiful.
Agreed. Several of his books have suffered the same fate unfortunately.

Also, removing the detail of Pathfinder failure so you have months of mental health issues... Damon did spectacular at emoting the strain in the moment he regains contact with the crew, but it felt disjointed without the context of zero contact and the desperation.

More recently, when attempting to share some images to Element (chat client), I see the following:
I suspect this is file specific or mimetype, as it's consistent on a given image but doesn't seem to affect most images.
A source of an example image is https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/42991557 ...
In these cases, saving the same image then attaching it separately inside the chat client works normally.
Please let me know if I can help diagnose etc.
