The thing that drives me nuts about the lab leak theory is that it absolutely should be investigated as a possible avenue for COVID's origin, but not because of some nefarious conspiracy theory. It should be investigated to determine whether or not there was a protocol breach, or perhaps an oversight in lab procedures, that could point to the need for greater safety in infectious disease labs. Remember, Wuhan, like all infectious disease labs, follows the same protocols as most other similar labs, including those in the United States. If there are lapses in safety and/or oversight, everyone should know and take the appropriate steps to mitigate that.

I saw some small talk about it, and it really just boiled down to domain verification is great for more tech savvy folks, but trying to get larger accounts (think politicians, celebrities, etc) is a lot harder. Having a visual check, using tools within the app or site, is a lot easier.

And personally I like the idea of verification checks as long as it remains a simple means to do just that: verify the owner of the account. Morons like Musk and his ilk always thought it was a clout thing, and for a small minority that was probably the case, but by and large before he ruined it, it was great.

If you have one, a local butcher might be a better solution.

Is $100 your max? If you can go a little higher you can get a great Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB for $169 that will be a better option than most of the SSDs you listed.

Why does this look like you’re building loadouts for Modern Warfare 3?

For basic form filling, the Firefox PDF editor is fine. But sounds like OP’s use case is more advanced than that.

Thanks for sharing this, it actually looks like a fantastic alternative to Adobe Acrobat DC.

Except he's already been prosecuted and found guilty. This is the sentencing. Now the question is will New York state sentence and imprison him before he takes office.

This is an autumn-themed playlist that I've been curating for a while. It's not necessarily songs about autumn, but rather songs that, for me at least, evoke feelings of walking through a crisp, cool forest with leaves crunching under foot.

I'm using Gnome on Fedora and was wondering what terminal everyone's using? When I had a Mac I really liked iTerm2 and was hoping to find a suitable Linux version, but so far no such luck. I've tried Guake but I can't get the F12 binding to work.

Preferably, I'd like to find a terminal that can display system stats the same way as iTerm2.
