Definitely learned a lot. With these upgrades I hope it will last me enough so when I have more disposable income I can build a Voron or something of that caliber.

The frame is this with a few remixed parts thrown in. And scaled everything up to fit this larger tube.

Oh wow a CoreXZ A8. Yeah the original frame is very flimsy indeed. I got noticable improvements in print quality at higher speeds.

Yeah most of the wiring is. The bed wires are soldered on and I haven't noticed them warming up at all.

Upgrades include:

  • Frame made of steel tube
  • E3D V6 clone and E3D titan clone
  • Noctua heatbreak fan
  • SKR Mini E3 V3 board
  • Raspberry Pi running Klipper
  • G10 build sheet
  • Bed insulation
  • ATX power supply
  • BLTouch

Probably missed a few in the list

Yup. :) They don't have to die if you don't let them die.

Ah, I skipped over the fully part

Could't the Lite too? Or is my memory this bad?

I have an E7 still, and it feels still very modern with its aluminium frame and oled screen. And of course a qwerty keyboard

Thank you for the correction. I was indeed thinking of the profiles and misremembered how it all works.

And you can't call something E26 without it fitting into an E26 light bulb socket

Do not try to download over torrent, it's disabled in the free tier.

Found that out when a friend shared their screen on Discord and my internet went down lol. It's all p2p traffic.

The settings on KDE show this info about my computer after buying a used motherboard. Apparently it came from a prebuilt, though it is a standard ASUS board. Where does this branding come from and is it possible to remove it?

The branding also shows in inxi:

Machine: Type: Desktop System: PC Specialist product: Tornado R7S v: N/A serial: <superuser required> Mobo: ASUSTeK model: PRIME B450-PLUS v: Rev X.0x serial: <superuser required> part-nu: 1744753 UEFI: American Megatrends v: 4402 date: 12/13/2023

Is it possible to have link posts in compact layout while other posts are in cards layout? I miss this feature from Boost and Eternity.

I've bought two of these now and lost both. One just disappeared from my pocket and the other I dropped somewhere in a dark forest.

Now I want a new EDC. Is it a good idea to get another TS10 or are there better alternatives now?

I want decent brightness and small size. Andruril is a huge plus and aux leds are also fun. And not very expensive in case I lose one again.

A bunch of characters seem to be missing making text unreadable. What could the problem be?

We had 3 or 4 sets.

And if you look closely, you can see some illegally placed pieces that somehow weren't noticed when placed
