Dr Bronners soap has specifically reaffirmed their DEI policies since Trump's reelection, and they have a 5-to-1 cap on the top-level exec's salaries compared to their lowest paid retirement-vested employees. They seem to walk the walk from what I've seen and read.

I applied for an internal position in November. They still haven't put together an interview committee. I fucking hate this

Thanks! I grabbed my own key from FinnHub and am now hosting a mirror at https://tinybell.vfsh.dev/

It's a ticketable offense in most states, but that's usually it, so just a fine or a day in court if you want to try to fight the ticket.

It's worse than that even, it's not that they can't have all the new things they wants etc. they still get all that, their only "suffering" is that their magic high score number goes up at a slower rate, or goes down a little. They (billionaires) see no effective impact of any of this.

Money is very rarely transferred from the rich to the poor. When the rich lose money it's going to other rich people or corporations.

Same, literally a gasp then a sigh of relief as I read the headline

If request rates start getting problematic you could probably drastically reduce the refresh rate, seems like once per second right now which is way overkill IMO.

Also if you want to share the source I can host a mirror of it to further increase resilience to API ratelimits

Thanks, I was too lazy to explain that haha

4K = 3840 x 2160 pixels = 8,294,400 pixels per frame

Assuming 8 bits of color depth (lowest common depth) = 66,355,200 bits per frame (66MB)

At 24fps (again, low end as mentioned by another commenter) = 1,592,524,800 bits per second (1.5GB)

95.5GB per minute of footage per camera, assuming literally no compression.

95.5GB × 40 = 3.8TB × 3 cameras = 11.4TB

Raw uncompressed video takes up a LOT of space.

(Yes I used 1000 instead of 1024 for convenience)
