There's gotta be something...

Light mode during the day, dark mode at night

[–] wason@lemmy.world 2 points 8 months ago

Ah, never occurred to me that was the issue. Appreciate the feature if possible. Thanks

Yes, that same line but before each top comment on a post. Like this:

Hi, can you add a setting to show a separator line before a top comment? Thanks!

What movie is this?

Why no one's talking about the math? Monthly expenses add to $49,000 times 12 equal $588,000 per year. That's clearly not $300,000 and not even earning $400,000 gets you to the end of the year.

Hi, Lemmy.ninja has been unaccessible since yesterday. Anyone know why?

Title. If I use Sync without an account it works just fine every time, but once I log in, if I close the app and open it again it'll just crash all the time.

Thanks

It's crashing for me after I open the app a second time :(

[–] wason@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Well I really hope this is real then and more importantly it translates to cheap, clean energy

Got it. So it'll eventually lead to develop or improve daily stuff. I hope this material becomes a reality.

Thanks for the explanation. So, this means we are another step closer to quantum computers for example?

I'm trying to grasp on this concept and how we could see this in our daily lives. Better batteries? I thought about that because they get hot when charging but not sure if it's because of the resistance. Going into standard circuits means we'll have better SoCs? better integrated circuits? Faster computers or phones?

Im trying to think about a daily life application but maybe it won't have a direct impact on that area, maybe it's more about facilitating research that will eventually turn into daily life stuff?

Title. Looking for the megathread of FOSS apps that used to be on the other site, can't find it anymore. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi. I think I found a bug. I just updated to v1.0 and noticed the home page is set to "All", also that was the only bookmark there.

So I added "Subscribed" as a bookmark and then set it as home page. So my bookmarks now show "Subscribed" twice.

Thanks.

Forgot to add, the option to remove the bookmark is gone.

Hi. I'm subscribed to many many communities so navigating the long list could be a little complicated.

Can you add a filter field on top that can filter my subscribed communities as I type?

Thanks!

Hi. The cards view on dark mode works really good with a black background and dark gray cards but on light mode the background is white and the cards are also white so the only difference is the card outline, which is a little bit thin.

Can you please improve cards on light mode so it's easier to differentiate a post from the other?

Thanks

PIC

Hi.

This is a simple suggestion that's not that important but anyway, here it is...

I noticed the comment lines RGB (red, green, blue) actually display RBG (red, blue, green).

Can you order red, green, blue please? Thanks!

Title. Can you please add support for 2FA? Thanks!

Hi, can you add custom tabs when opening links please? Thanks!

Also, not sure if it's a bug but subscriptions are not refreshed on the left bar when subscribing/unsubscribing. Is there a way to trigger a refresh?

One more bug, just found out. I tried posting this using obviously Connect but got an error saying something like it wasn't clear to what community I was posting this even though lemmyconnect @ lemmy.ca was right there in the community field.
